Molybdenum Rhenium sputtering target, Mo-Re Alloy Target
Mo-Re alloy is Molybdenum Alloyed with 41% or 47.5% of Rhenium(nominal content of Rhenium is 50%), which has good ductility, weld ability, formability and strength. Mo-Re alloy keeps high ductile even after used in high temperature. Mo-Re alloy are widely used for electronics, nuclear and aerospace applications.
Application: Mo-Re alloy can be used as high speed rotating X-ray tube target, long life grating plate of microwave communication, core heating tube of space reactor, heating element of high temperature furnace, high temperature thermocouple, etc. The tensile strength, ductility and resistivity of molybdenum-rhenium alloy at room temperature increase with the increase of rhenium content. Mo-5%Re and Mo-41%Re are usually used as thermocouple wire materials, as structural materials in aerospace. Mo-50%Re as high temperature structural material.
